Bob Bird

Bob Bird has been in the Alaskan pro-life movement since 1980. He led the largest civil disobedience event in the state’s history, blockading abortion clinics in Anchorage in 1989. He ran for the U.S. Senate twice, knocking Ted Stevens out of his seat in 2008 as a third party candidate. He is a History teacher, now in semi-retirement as a homeschool tutor, radio broadcaster, and print journalist.
