COLORADO SPRINGS, April 16, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – On April 17, thousands of schools across America will observe the homosexualist “Day of Silence,” which is sponsored by one of the largest homosexual advocacy groups in the nation. The event encourages students to refuse to speak for the entire school day to promote and celebrate homosexualist causes.
To help parents prepare for the “Day of Silence” and other homosexuality-promoting activities in their schools, Focus on the Family has launched TrueTolerance.org, a website that hosts a stockpile of information on what kids are being taught and how parents can fight back. In addition to revealing the true legal and social ramifications of homosexual indoctrination in schools, True Tolerance provides a pre-assembled Alliance Defense Fund legal packet that parents can send or email to school administrators.
The packet includes an 11-page legal memorandum, as well as an essay that thoroughly debunks claims made in the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network’s manual entitled “Just the Facts about Sexual Orientation and Youth.” The 24-page manual from the homosexualist network, received by public schools nationwide for several years, concludes that homosexuality is a “normal expression of human sexuality” that must be embraced, and urges schools to censor the Christian viewpoint.
